Description
Gulf County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting bids for the demolition of the existing playing surface and ancillary areas at Washington Gym, followed by the purchase, delivery, and installation of approximately 5,650 square feet of new interlocking, wood-grain tile flooring. The system must use high-impact polypropylene 12-by-12-inch tiles with a factory-applied polyurethane finish, maple appearance, variable shock-absorbing underlayment, and owner-selected colors around the playing surface. The completed floor must include “Washington Gym” lettering along the sidelines, a center-court tiger head logo supplied by the owner, and striping for basketball and volleyball. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site. The bid must remain firm for 60 days after opening, and bidders must comply with applicable Florida contractor licensing and registration requirements and the public-entity-crimes requirements of Section 287.133(3), Florida Statutes.
