St. Tammany Parish Government is soliciting bids for the Nolan Road Phase 2 highway construction project, Bid No. 26-40-2. The work includes subsurface drainage on both sides of Nolan Road, roadway widening, a two-inch asphalt overlay, pavement striping, excavation and embankment, clearing and grubbing, driveway replacement, signage replacement, hydroseeding, drainage structures and pipes, pavement patching, temporary traffic control, mobilization, construction layout, and related improvements. Work must conform to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development 2016 Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges. The contract requires completion within 120 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form, applicable unit-price form, bid security equal to 5% of the total bid, and written evidence of the signatory's authority. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price and comply with the specified insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation/employers' liability, pollution and environmental liability, errors and omissions, and owners protective liability coverage.
