Description
Alpine School District seeks a contractor to remodel approximately 6,400 square feet of cafeteria and commons space. Work includes removing and replacing ceiling tiles and 2-by-4-foot flat-panel lights, removing wall carpet and wood trim, cleaning adhesive, preparing and painting exposed brick, repairing the existing ceiling grid, and replacing HVAC diffusers as described in the solicitation. The contractor will coordinate with the District and the project architect. The proposal must include the completed certification and cost proposal schedules, a company profile and history, relevant experience and references, warranty and product lead-time information, and a point-by-point response to the technical requirements. A bid bond is required when the bid exceeds $50,000, at 5% of the bid; the successful contractor must provide 100% payment and performance bonds. The District also requests proof of liability and workers’ compensation insurance, applicable licenses, and other specified vendor information through its procurement portal.
