Description
The Mississippi Department of Corrections is soliciting quotes from a qualified contractor to provide third-party administration of COBRA continuation coverage for its health plans, including medical, dental, vision, employee assistance, health flexible spending, and health reimbursement arrangement benefits. The contractor will administer COBRA eligibility and notices; provide accountable-mail notifications; support premium billing, collection, custodial-account remittance, and payment options; coordinate with MDOC and insurance carriers; and provide beneficiary communications and customer service. The contractor must also provide online portals and real-time reporting for MDOC and qualified beneficiaries, maintain records, support open enrollment and premium-rate changes, and cooperate in transitioning data and services at contract expiration or termination. The contract is anticipated to run for one year beginning on or about December 3, 2026, with four optional one-year renewals. Respondents must complete and submit the provided quote form, including pricing and required certifications, acknowledgments, and signature.
