Description
The Town of Robbinsville is soliciting sealed bids for improvements to its gravity sewer collection system. The project includes approximately 2,100 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron gravity sewer line, 830 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron gravity sewer line, existing sewer service reconnections, and related accessories and appurtenances in the Laura Street/US 129 area. The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant Program, so applicable federal CDBG requirements apply, including Section 3, Davis-Bacon, Anti-Kickback, Contract Work Hours, Title VI, and related requirements. Bidders must be appropriately licensed North Carolina contractors. A 5% bid bond or qualifying bid deposit is required, and the successful bidder must furnish separate 100% performance and payment bonds.
