Description
The City of Maryville is soliciting bids for network distribution transformers: three 300 kVA units and one 500 kVA unit. The specified equipment includes 13,750 V/216 V delta-grounded windings, aluminum high-voltage and copper low-voltage windings, primary taps, single-compartment high-voltage switch chambers, 200A dead-break high-voltage switches, hot-stick-operated tap changers, gauges, pressure-relief devices, and specified coating systems. Transformers must comply with IEEE C57.12.40-2017 and be supplied with mineral-oil insulating fluid, with certain alternative materials and fluids permitted where specified. Pricing must include delivery and all associated fees. Bidders must complete the mandatory bid pricing sheet, state a definite lead time, and submit a factory detailed sheet demonstrating compliance with the specifications. The City intends to make an initial purchase of three 300 kVA units and one 500 kVA unit, but does not guarantee quantities under the resulting non-exclusive contract. The initial term is one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions by mutual agreement.
