Description
The Town seeks contractor or construction services to remove and replace existing sidewalks, construct or replace ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps, replace identified curb and gutter, prepare and pave asphalt surfaces, construct or replace concrete parking areas, and stripe parking spaces on asphalt and concrete. The work also includes traffic control, field verification of paving and curb quantities and site conditions, itemized unit pricing, and coordination of phased construction and access to minimize disruption to nearby operations and properties. The proposal must include the completed Proposal Form and Signature Page, three client references, a company narrative, the Property/Liability and Workers' Compensation Certification, the Independent Contractor Statement, and the E-Verify Affidavit. The selected vendor must provide a certificate of insurance with at least $1,000,000 in coverage naming the Town as an additional insured, and workers' compensation coverage. Employees of the selected contractor must undergo background checks before working on site.
