Description
The City of Conway is soliciting bids for construction of Airport Park improvements. Work includes site demolition and earthwork; erosion controls, drainage, and paving; two parking lots; sidewalks, curbs, and accessible ramps; a baseball field with dugouts and fencing; a basketball court; amphitheater seating; playground equipment and safety surfacing; entrance features, benches, and other site furnishings; landscaping, trees, sod, and irrigation. Plans and specifications provide the detailed scope and quantities, including three deductive alternates. Bids must be submitted electronically through AR Bid using the provided Proposal Form. A bid guaranty of at least 5% of the bid is required, as either a certified check or bid bond. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, after award. The Proposal Form states work is to begin within 10 calendar days after a work order or notice to proceed and be completed within 90 calendar days; other contract sections state different completion periods, so the contract duration is inconsistent in the package.
