Description
The City of San Antonio's Capital Delivery Department is seeking a contractor for the complete renovation of Main Plaza in downtown San Antonio. The work includes demolition; ADA-related site grading and paving; construction of a 5,500-square-foot pavilion shade structure and open-air porch; a food and beverage building; restroom renovations; concrete and stone paving; seat walls and retaining walls; artificial turf, landscaping, and irrigation; utility upgrades; site lighting; audio/visual infrastructure; mounting structures for The Saga art installation at San Fernando Cathedral; and site furniture. Four additive alternates cover off-site tree relocation, salvage and delivery of existing pavers, a storage building annex and related amenities, and technology connections to the Municipal Plaza Building. This is a request for competitive sealed proposals, with an optional but highly encouraged virtual pre-submittal conference and proposal questions submitted through CivCast.
