Description
The project includes sidewalk and ADA ramp upgrades at the intersection of Meetinghouse Road and Westbury Road. Work includes concrete sidewalk, ADA ramps with detectable warning surfaces, depressed curbing, asphalt driveway replacement, crosswalk striping, street tree planting, grading, and site restoration. The contractor must also provide traffic control, protect existing utilities and property, and comply with Pennsylvania prevailing wage requirements. Bids are submitted electronically through PennBid. The bid package requires a bid guaranty of at least 10% of the base bid, in the form of a certified check or bid bond. The three lowest bidders must deliver original bid documents and supporting documentation within three business days after bid opening. The successful bidder must provide performance, labor and materials, and maintenance bonds.
