Description
Columbia Association is soliciting bids for the recurring supply of white, 100% cotton washcloths and towels in specified sizes and weights. The estimated annual requirements are 1,000 dozen 12-by-12-inch washcloths, 2,000 dozen 16-by-27-inch towels, and 2,000 dozen 24-by-50-inch towels, with an alternate 24-by-50-inch towel option of a different weight. Bidders may price individual items, and the buyer may purchase either the standard or alternate large-towel item. The awarded supplier must provide inside delivery within 3–5 business days of each order, with pricing FOB destination and inclusive of shipping and handling. Orders are expected to be placed periodically, generally in quantities of 50 dozen or more. Bidders must submit product specification sheets for each bid item, ordering and minimum-order policies, return policies, pricing, references for three similar towel-supply contracts, and the required minority-business-enterprise form and participation information. The initial contract term is one year, with four additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual agreement.
