Citnalta Construction Corp. and Northeast Structural Steel, working as a joint venture, are seeking quotes from certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for Package 2A of the Hudson Tunnel Project. The work includes a cut-and-cover tunnel, structural modifications and underpinning, relocations, and framing for a fan plant, with coordination required around active railroad operations. Requested scopes include painting and lead abatement; trucking; electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work; drilled piles; concrete reinforcement; waterproofing; pavement markings; asphalt paving; temporary traffic protection devices; office cleaning; and testing and inspections. Subcontractors must provide the labor, materials, equipment, supervision, engineering support, temporary works, and protection measures needed for their respective scopes. The project is proposing an 8.3% DBE goal, which is not yet confirmed.
