Description
Erie County Medical Center Corporation is seeking a contractor for inspection and testing of existing medical gas systems at its main hospital, behavioral health building, Snyder Dialysis and Medical Office Building, Terrace View Long-Term Care Facility, and Emergency Department. The scope includes medical gas hose inspections, semiannual waste anesthetic gas evaluations, annual medical gas inspections, alarm and outlet testing, machine-room preventive maintenance, on-call service, emergency repairs, equipment repairs, construction-related modifications and recertification, annual staff training, reporting, and corrective-action recommendations. Work must comply with NFPA 99 and applicable ASSE requirements, and personnel must hold applicable medical-gas certifications. The resulting agreement is five years in duration, with separate purchase orders for each project, task, or inspection. The proposal must include pricing, a technical approach, staffing and response plans, company qualifications, at least two professional references, vendor inspection forms previously used at a comparable facility, a sample of prior training documentation, and the required buyer-provided forms and certifications. Proposals may not exceed 20 pages for the Vendor Proposal; the Price File must be submitted in Excel format, while the other required files must be submitted in PDF format.
