Description
The district seeks seasonal snow, ice, and drift removal at its firehouse from November 15, 2026, through April 30, 2027. Services include priority plowing and ice removal after snowfall of three inches or when ice is present, salting when requested, snowbank push-back as needed, and maintaining clear access to apparatus bays, entry doors, parking areas, walkways, and a pathway to the generator room. The contractor must provide 24/7 on-call service, monitor conditions, and place reflective stakes to mark plowing areas. Ice-melt products may not be used on concrete surfaces. The proposal form requests seasonal pricing for plowing/drift removal, salting, and snowbank push-back, along with business information, history, staffing, references, and supporting insurance and business documentation. The agreement is for one year, with annual renewal provisions for up to two additional years. A site visit is recommended but not stated as mandatory.
