Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for medical gases and related cylinder services for the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center and community-based outpatient clinics. The requirement includes oxygen, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, compressed air, liquid nitrogen, lung-diffusion gas mixtures, contractor-owned cylinder rentals, and emergency deliveries. The planned requirement has a 12-month base period followed by four 12-month option years. The contractor must provide compliant cylinders and containers, transportation, cylinder inspection and testing, maintenance of contractor-owned cylinders, labeling and regulatory compliance, safety data sheets upon request, routine deliveries, emergency deliveries, and 24/7 telephone support.
