Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract to Control Laser Corporation for a FALIT TRIO Laser System and integrated workstation. The system must support high-precision laser marking, engraving, and micromachining; integrated multi-axis motion control; a Class 1 safety-certified enclosure; Control Laser's proprietary FALIT TRIO laser architecture and software suite; and compatibility with existing Government-owned Control Laser equipment, tooling, job files, and workflows. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract under FAR 6.302-1, not a request for competitive quotations. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating that they can provide an equivalent system without compromising compatibility, performance, or proprietary technology requirements. Responses must include clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the Government, along with the firm's Unique Entity ID and business size classification.
