Description
The City of Huntsville is soliciting sealed bids for construction improvements at the intersection of Huntsville Northern Bypass and Memorial Parkway, identified as Project No. 71-26-SP60. The work includes two new traffic signals, drainage improvements, turn lanes, electrical work, and streetlights. Bidders must hold a valid Alabama general contractor’s license with either the Highways and Streets (HS) or Municipal and Utility (MU) classification. The bid package requires two signed hard copies, pricing on the City-provided quantities file in Excel format on a working thumb or flash drive, an original signed, dated, and sealed bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid and no more than $10,000, the required addenda acknowledgment, the City of Huntsville Report of Ownership Form, and the contractor’s E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding. Bids must be sealed and submitted according to the stated delivery requirements.
