Description
The University of South Dakota is requesting proposals from qualified carriers or charter providers for air charter services supporting its 2026–27 men's basketball season. The contract may be awarded to multiple vendors and covers up to five one-way trips, including flights from Missoula, Montana, and Grand Forks, North Dakota, to Yankton, South Dakota. Departure times are estimates and may change because of game schedules, broadcasting, weather, or other circumstances. Proposals must describe the aircraft, FAA certification, passenger capacity and seating configuration, baggage and basketball-equipment capacity, flight attendants, availability, meal and beverage service, ground handling, fuel pricing, taxes and fees, payment terms, schedule flexibility, contingency plans, and additional costs. Vendors must provide aircraft availability verification, evidence of at least three years in business and athletic group-travel experience, three client references, and completed pricing and operational response materials. Aviation liability insurance of at least $500,000,000 per occurrence is required during the contract term, with the certificate due within ten calendar days after award rather than with the proposal.
