Description
The Virgin Islands Port Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified, certified, and licensed mechanical contractors specializing in fire suppression systems. The selected contractor or contractors will provide on-call inspections, assessments, repairs, maintenance, and installation services for commercial fire suppression systems at Authority facilities, including airports and seaports. The contractor must furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and transportation. The solicitation requests fully burdened hourly rates for regular-hours repair and maintenance, weekday after-hours work, weekend and federal-holiday work, assessment and inspection, and emergency services. The contract is effective through September 30, 2027, with three additional one-year extensions at the Authority's discretion. Multiple awards may be made. Required submission materials include a business license, general liability insurance documentation, coverage qualification information, debarment certification, workers' compensation insurance documentation, certificate of good standing, and applicable corporate formation documents, along with required electronic bid attributes and vendor references.
