Description
Cherry Creek School District No. 5 is seeking proposals to supply and deliver tamales for its Food and Nutrition Services program. The product list specifies fully cooked, frozen cheese tamales, with a target of 24,000 servings; products must be eligible for USDA commodity processing through a manufacturer holding the required National Processing Agreement and Colorado State Processing Agreement. The district permits an equal product, subject to its specifications and evaluation, and requires domestic products to be proposed and supplied to the maximum extent practicable. Proposals must include pricing in the provided product-list spreadsheet and a response addressing the requested product, service, ordering, delivery, and pricing requirements. The district also requests product samples and supporting product documentation for equal products, including nutrition and ingredient information, CN labeling, formulation statements, allergen information, USDA drawdown information, product specifications, and cooking instructions. Samples and their supporting documentation have a separate deadline before the proposal deadline. The awarded supplier will provide ongoing product supply and delivery under an initial one-year term, with up to four additional one-year renewals.
