Description
Atlantic County is soliciting a meal packaging system consisting of lidding machines, CPET dual-ovenable trays, easy-peel polyester film, and associated products. The requirement includes one conveyor lidding machine and three hand-operated lidding machines, or approved equivalents. The equipment must meet specified capacity, dimensions, electrical, sealing, and operating requirements, and the bidder must identify the proposed machine make and model and provide detailed specifications. The contractor must furnish and deliver the trays, film, and lidding machines to the Atlantic County Kitchen, install and set up the equipment, demonstrate its operation, and train designated County personnel. The contractor is responsible for repairing or replacing lidding machines and replaceable parts during the contract term, with repairs or replacements completed within 48 hours. Five tray and film samples must accompany the bid. Pricing is based on estimated annual quantities, with no guaranteed minimum monthly volume, and the contract includes a one-year term with an option for one additional year.
