Description
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for the purchase and removal of a house located at Bellevue State Park. The successful bidder must obtain all necessary moving permits, assume responsibility for the structure after bid acceptance, remove the structure no later than May 31, 2027, and leave the site free of debris and orderly. All solid waste generated by the removal must be deposited in a permitted sanitary landfill. Any tree removal or trimming requires approval from Department of Natural Resources staff. The bidder may take or leave the existing 500-gallon propane tank, playground set, and dog kennel. A $500 certified-check bid guarantee drawn on an Iowa bank is required, and the full bid amount is due within ten days after notification of the possession date.
