Description
AEA Purchasing, a division of the Iowa Association of Area Education Agencies, is soliciting vendors to establish a comprehensive procurement program offering competitive pricing on academic versions of operational software, including Microsoft, Adobe, Google Workspace for Education Plus, VMware, AutoCAD, and other software products. Vendors must be original equipment manufacturers or authorized resellers for the products proposed, provide pricing through the electronic procurement system, include shipping and handling in pricing, and provide manufacturer suggested retail pricing. The program will serve Iowa Area Education Agencies, accredited public school districts, accredited non-public schools, and other eligible academic-related organizations. The proposal must include the completed Vendor Worksheet, completed Vendor Signature Page, and completed Software Product List with pricing. Vendors must provide at least three K-12 references for similar services, describe their customer support, sales and marketing capabilities, ordering and fulfillment processes, geographic coverage, and value-added services. The awarded vendor must provide sales representation and support, accept member orders, deliver products directly to members, submit quarterly sales reports, and pay a 2% administrative fee on contract sales. Commercial general liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate is required during the contract term.
