Description
Connecticut State Community College's Northwestern Campus is seeking a contractor for snow removal, plowing, sanding, salting, and deicing of campus driveways and parking areas. The contractor must provide the required personnel, equipment, materials, and operators, including skid loaders, snow blowers, plow and sanding vehicles, sweepers, and trucks for snow relocation and disposal. Services include snow relocation on-site or off-site, pre-season marking of sidewalks and site features, maintaining sight lines, and additional authorized sanding or deicing. Snow must be cleared within 12 hours after snowfall ends and before 6:00 a.m. on the next business day. The contractor must maintain 24/7 availability during snow events, comply with equipment, licensing, background-check, safety, standard-wage, insurance, and state contracting requirements, and provide a service plan, qualifications, pricing, references, equipment listing, and required state forms. The contract is for three years with two possible 12-month renewals.
