Description
Dodge County is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from Georgia-licensed engineering firms experienced in assisting local governments with Community Development Block Grant and related grant programs. The selected firm would provide preliminary engineering design for a potential FY2027 project and, if funding is awarded, engineering services for project implementation, including design and construction management related to street and drainage improvements. Proposals must address the firm's history and resources, relevant CDBG/EIP/RDF and other Georgia Department of Community Affairs grant experience, key personnel qualifications, current workload, proposed scope and level of service, similar project experience and references, fees or percentages for the preliminary engineering report and potential design and construction management services, errors and omissions insurance, and the Statement of Qualifications Form. The draft preliminary engineering report is due no later than January 4, 2027. Contracts will be subject to applicable federal and state provisions for HUD-assisted projects.
