Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a sole-source contract to the County of Berks for emergency dispatch services supporting Blue Marsh Lake. The work includes 24/7/365 dispatching of police, fire, and emergency medical services; interagency communications; dispatching ranger patrols; and relaying information such as vehicle registrations, wanted individuals and warrants, and scofflaw information. The draft performance work statement also describes contractor management, staffing, equipment, and administrative responsibilities. The stated period of performance is January 1 through December 31, 2027. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals; interested parties may email capability statements for consideration of whether a competitive acquisition is appropriate.
