Description
Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 seeks proposals to expand its existing Wide Area Network by connecting additional member buildings. Vendors may propose managed leased lit fiber, including optical wavelength services, leased dark fiber, or both. Dark fiber proposals must include ongoing maintenance and operations; lit fiber proposals must include service-level commitments and circuit-specific pricing. Proposals may also cover network equipment, including specified products or equivalent interoperable equipment, with installation and initial configuration as applicable. Responses must include the applicable pricing workbook and technical, organizational, and service information, including network diagrams and route files, timelines, references, and required forms. A bid bond equal to 10% of the total base bid plus additive alternatives is required with every proposal. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract sum, are required from the selected bidder after notice of intent to award. The initial contract term will be determined after pricing review; the RFP allows up to five one-year extensions by mutual agreement.
