Description
The City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, LA Sanitation and Environment, seeks a contractor to continue operating a 24-hour telephone hotline for odor complaints potentially associated with the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant. Services include live operator coverage, message dispatching, call forwarding, detailed complaint documentation, and urgent-complaint notifications to designated City staff and other parties. The contractor must maintain secure, backed-up, retrievable digital records, record and retain calls for at least four years, and provide monthly reports and invoices. The contractor must also be able to take over the existing hotline phone number and website. The proposed agreement is for five years with two two-year renewal options. The annual cost ceiling is $19,314, with a total contract ceiling of $135,198. Attendance at the pre-proposal meeting is mandatory to submit a proposal.
