Description
Columbus State University is soliciting proposals for comprehensive, continuous grounds maintenance and landscaping services for designated outlying areas, including Zone 3 outlying landscaping at the Main Campus, the Carson-McCullers House, the Georgia Public Safety Training Center property, and various RiverPark Campus locations. The scope includes mowing and edging, shrub and tree care, debris and leaf removal, pine-straw installation, seasonal color, lawn fertilization and pest control, irrigation maintenance and repair, detention-pond mowing, sports-field surroundings, storm drains, parking areas, and replacement of damaged plant materials. The contractor must maintain a local service team capable of responding to campus needs within 24 hours, provide emergency and routine service coordination, and perform the full scope in-house without subcontracting or dividing the work among multiple providers. The solicitation requires at least five years of landscaping and grounds-maintenance experience, three similar business references, a Georgia pesticide license where applicable, detailed staffing and equipment information, service-verification procedures, safety and business-continuity plans, and responses to extensive mandatory and scored questions. The initial contract runs from award through the end of the State of Georgia's current fiscal year, with four one-year renewal options. Responses must be submitted electronically through the sourcing tool by the stated deadline.
