Description
The Sanford Airport Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide exclusive taxicab concession services at Orlando Sanford International Airport. The contractor must furnish and operate an adequate fleet of properly licensed, clean, safe, air-conditioned taxicabs; qualified drivers and dispatchers; supervision; customer-service operations; trip dispatching and reporting; wheelchair-accessible transportation; child safety seats; and all other personnel, equipment, permits, and expertise required by the sample contract. The proposal must address firm experience, staffing, vehicles and equipment, operational procedures, contingency and disaster recovery, quality assurance, references, financial qualifications, licensing, and pricing. The minimum proposed fees are $1,200 per month for the first-year privilege fee and $4.75 per trip. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with two additional one-year extensions available by mutual agreement. A 16.09% ACDBE participation goal applies, and proposers must submit an ACDBE participation plan. Responses must be submitted electronically through the Authority's procurement portal by the stated deadline.
