Description
Los Angeles World Airports is soliciting proposals for taxicab operations and management at Los Angeles International Airport. The contractor will coordinate staffing, vehicle flow, queues, communications, dispatch readiness, reporting, inspections, transponder administration, cleanliness, customer service, accessibility support, complaint response, training, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across the Ground Transportation Center, Central Terminal Area, and Taxi Holding Lot. The contractor must provide the personnel, supervision, equipment, systems, training, reporting, quality control, and administrative support needed to deliver the service. The evaluation includes mandatory administrative and Business Enterprise participation submissions, qualifications and experience, technical approach and methodology, an inclusivity plan, a fee/cost schedule, and potentially an interview and presentation. The draft contract states a five-year term commencing on the effective date. The solicitation materials also identify a Local Business Preference Program and require submission of specified administrative documents, a technical proposal, and cost and fee schedules.
