Description
This Sources Sought/Request for Information notice is market research only; it is not a solicitation for bids or proposals. The agency is seeking vendor capability information for engineering and producing an adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector targeted to kidney glomerular endothelial cells (GECs) for preclinical research. Work includes selecting and validating targeting peptides through phage display, incorporating a peptide into an endothelial-specific AAV capsid, and producing reporter vectors. The requested research services include in vitro binding and internalization studies, testing in kidney tissue and animal models, biodistribution and transduction-efficiency analysis, imaging, molecular assays, and reporting. Respondents should describe their relevant capabilities and provide a capability statement, relevant literature, a brochure or specification sheet for the product offered, a letter of authorization, and answers to the listed socioeconomic-status and GSA/FSS questions. The notice also specifies substantial laboratory infrastructure, vector-engineering expertise, animal and human cell delivery experience, and compliance with AAALAC and FELASA health standards.
