Description
This solicitation is for the provision and installation of cold storage refrigeration systems at the Small Grains and Potato Germplasm Research Unit in Aberdeen, Idaho. The project involves the removal of two existing rooftop condenser units, associated refrigerant piping, and interior evaporator units. These will be replaced with two new refrigeration systems of equivalent capacity, utilizing modern low global warming potential refrigerants. The scope includes installation of new rooftop condensing units, interior evaporative units, refrigerant piping, insulation, and electrical disconnects. Minor roof repairs around the mounting locations are also included. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, rigging, supervision, transportation, and per diem required to complete the work. Upon completion, the contractor must provide system schematics, as-built diagrams, equipment documentation, startup documentation, and warranty information in both digital and hard copy formats. Additionally, a minimum of four hours of owner training on system operation, maintenance, and safety will be provided. The period of performance is 90 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
