Description
Boundary County, Idaho is soliciting bids for the Rebid for the Runway 2/20 Rehabilitation & Extension Project at Boundary County Airport. The project involves reclaiming and recycling existing asphalt pavement and base course on Runway 2/20 and connecting taxiways. It also includes a 1,200-foot extension of Runway 2/20 and the Parallel Taxiway, rehabilitation and expansion of the runway lighting system and NAVAIDs, clearing and grubbing, stormwater improvements, slope armoring, aggregate base course, asphalt paving, fencing, safety area grading, seeding/mulching, and pavement markings. Bids must be submitted online through QuestCDN via electronic VirtuBidTM by 10:00 a.m. Local Time on June 30, 2026. Bidders must register with QuestCDN for a non-refundable fee of $22.00 to download bidding documents and be placed on the plan holders list. There is a non-refundable fee of $42.00 to submit a bid. A Bid Guaranty of 5 percent of the total bid amount is required. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract amount, will also be required. This project is funded in part by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration and is subject to various federal contract provisions, including Buy America Preferences, Davis Bacon Act, and requirements related to lobbying and foreign-owned entities. While an Idaho Public Works Contractor's License is not required to bid, the successful bidder and all subcontractors must secure one prior to award.
