TOWN OF DAVIE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP# RS-26-62 Artisan Market Operator Dear Potential Proposer: The Town of Davie, Florida invites qualified proposers to submit responses in accordance with the requirements stated herein no later than 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 22, 2026, for RFP# RS-26-62 Artisan Market Operator. Pursuant to Town Code Section No. 2-320, a Cone of Silence is hereby imposed on this solicitation. The cone shall be in effect until such time of award by the Town Administrator or the Town Mayor and Council. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in the project Q&A section no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Responses to those questions considered material to the solicitation will be made available in a formal addendum issued to this project. Description

The Town of Davie is soliciting proposals from qualified entities to provide turnkey professional management and operation of an ongoing artisan market. The market will operate seasonally, at least twice monthly on Sundays from October through April, at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds and/or other Town-owned public property. Permitted offerings include fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, confections, flowers, plants, handmade goods, wellness products, and other sustainable products; on-site cooking, reheating, food trucks, wholesale or mass-produced items, and other prohibited activities are not allowed. The Market Manager will independently administer the market with Town oversight, including vendor recruitment, review and approval, fee collection, licensing and regulatory compliance, staffing and volunteers, event-day operations, setup and breakdown, vendor and site maps, marketing and promotion, signage, trash and site cleanliness, conflict resolution, and monthly reporting. The proposer must provide an executive summary, key personnel resumes and qualifications, relevant artisan-market or community-event experience, three client references, and a financial proposal describing a negotiated revenue- or profit-sharing structure and revenue forecast. The Town will provide the venue and specified facility support. The initial contract term is three years, with three additional one-year renewal periods available by mutual agreement. Addendum No. 2 states that the market must be implemented no later than 60 days following award, that the Town will not provide startup funding, and that police, security, and traffic-control services will be furnished by the Town.
