Description
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is soliciting quotes for the purchase of prefabricated metal picnic shelters. The shelters are intended for the Joe Skeen Campground and The Narrows Picnic Area in west-central New Mexico. The acquisition includes seven 16'x16' shelters and one 20'x20' shelter, all to be all-steel, square, hip-roof design with a minimum eave height of 7 feet, 6 inches. The structures must meet site-specific snow and wind load design criteria based on current building codes. The manufacturer will be responsible for providing detailed engineering drawings, foundation/footing designs, and installation instructions. All steel members must meet specified ASTM standards, and welding must conform to the latest AWS standards. The shelters will be primed and powder-coated, with roof panels and posts colored according to the manufacturer's palette, subject to final selection and approval. Delivery is required by December 30, 2026, to 202 Smokey Circle, Grants, NM 87020. The period of performance is estimated from July 14, 2026, to December 30, 2026. This is a firm-fixed-price acquisition set aside for small business concerns.
