Description
The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Crownpoint Service Unit intends to restrict competition and negotiate an award with SUN GLASS LLC for the purchase of two panic devices for the Front Exterior Door of the Nizhoni Bluff Apartments. These apartments are located at the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332321 - Metal Window and Door Manufacturing. This notice is issued in accordance with RFO 12.102(a) for acquisitions valued at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, restricting competition to SUN GLASS LLC. The procurement is being restricted due to the urgency of maintaining resident safety, the need for compatibility with existing door systems, and the availability of a qualified local vendor capable of furnishing the required panic devices without delay. Utilizing SUN GLASS LLC is deemed in the best interest of the Crownpoint Healthcare Facility as it will minimize downtime, reduce travel costs, expedite completion, and ensure compliance with life-safety requirements.
