Description
This project involves the engineering, furnishing, installation, and testing (EFI&T) of an upgrade to the existing inside plant (ISP) infrastructure with new Cat-6 cabling for Building B20388 at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. The contractor will be responsible for all services, materials, supplies, equipment, permits, studies, specifications, drawings, and supervision necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Statement of Objectives (SoO). This includes the removal and disposal of all outdated and abandoned Cat-3/Cat-5 wiring. All work must comply with applicable codes from the State of New Mexico, Federal regulations, and Kirtland AFB building codes. The performance period will be determined based on the proposed schedule and the contract award date, with all work to be completed within the scheduled timeframe. Routine work is expected during normal base hours (Mon-Fri, 0730-1630 MST), but work outside these hours may be required for mission continuity and must be coordinated with the Contracting Officer (CO) and base Point of Contact (POC).
