Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission, for the Department of State Health Services, is seeking competitive bids for NIST- or Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB)-traceable calibration of RaySafe X2 mammography and X-ray radiation evaluation systems. The scope covers 17 X-ray systems with RF probes and 11 mammography systems with mammography probes, including base-station updates as needed, device cleaning, and return delivery. Systems will be delivered to the contractor's laboratory for calibration. Units are to be calibrated on a two-year cycle and returned within 25-30 working days unless the agency is notified of a delay. The contractor must maintain appropriate laboratory certifications, including calibration capability certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, and ISO 17025 standards, and provide expertise across X-ray modalities. Bidders must demonstrate at least two years of relevant experience, provide three verifiable similar references from the past two years, and submit pricing using the provided pricing sheet. The initial contract term is September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with a possible one-year extension.
