Description
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration requires one multi-channel gel and blot documentation imaging system: a Bio-Rad ChemiDoc MP Imaging System or approved equal meeting all mandatory technical specifications. Required capabilities include stain-free western blotting, at least five fluorescent channels, GFP/Cy2 detection, mechanical zoom, optical filtration, multiple excitation sources and filters, a cooled CCD detector, specified image area and dynamic range, multiple file formats, USB connectivity, and standalone image-analysis software compatible with PC and Mac. The contractor must furnish and deliver the system, applicable software, documentation, cables, and accessories, and provide installation or configuration if applicable and operator training on operation, maintenance, and software use. A minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty is required. Delivery is required within 30 calendar days after contract award, with a successful power-on and functional demonstration and completion of training required for acceptance. Equal-item offerors must submit a compliance matrix addressing every salient characteristic and technical parameter with supporting manufacturer documentation.
