The State of Rhode Island is seeking qualified vendors for inclusion on Master Price Agreement (MPA) 41. This agreement will cover services including the installation and modification of miscellaneous electrical maintenance, repair, and installation projects. Additionally, vendors must be available for 24-hour emergency service call response. Services required include testing, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs on the State's electrical distribution systems. All work must be performed by individuals holding valid Rhode Island electrical licenses. Contractors must respond to emergency calls within two hours and to service calls by phone within one hour, establishing a mutually agreed arrival time. Prior approval from the user agency is required for all work, including additional repairs not part of the initial service call. Contractors will be responsible for providing all necessary tools and equipment, including voltage testers, line fault testing equipment, and safety gear. All workmanship and parts furnished must be guaranteed against defects for twelve months after completion. Contractors must also comply with all state, federal, and OSHA occupational safety and health policies. For work on state-owned buildings, contractors are responsible for pulling the necessary electrical permits.
