Description
Pawtucket City School District is soliciting proposals for fully managed Dedicated Internet Access with transport to an applicant-designated building demarcation point. The required service must provide at least 10 Gbps download and upload bandwidth, with dedicated bandwidth, a committed information rate, no usage caps or throttling, and delivery through the building’s MDF. Vendors may offer bandwidth options up to 25 Gbps, static IP addresses, router leasing, advanced firewall services, and DDoS protection as optional services. Pricing must identify monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and any special construction charges, including sufficient route, cost-per-foot, and plant-mix details where applicable. The provider must accept responsibility for site delivery, construction, permitting, pathways, and rights-of-way required to deliver the service. Proposals must include the vendor’s terms and conditions, SPIN, completed pricing attachment, and all costs associated with the proposed service; pricing must be submitted in the provided Excel pricing attachment. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027. Contracted offers should include 36-month pricing, with the customer able to extend the agreement for two additional 12-month terms. SPI discount billing is required.
