Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting 10 outer periscope tubes, identified by NSN 7H-1240-016340653-L1 and TDP Version 003, for use in a critical shipboard system. The tubes must conform to Naval Ship Systems Command drawing 7647786 and related drawings and specifications, including CRES Class 316 material, chemical and mechanical certification, hydrostatic pressure testing, intergranular corrosion testing where applicable, nondestructive testing, traceability, military packaging, and required marking. The procurement requires contractor-performed first article testing on one unit, Level I joint source certification, a documented quality system, and extensive certification and test data. The amendment removes the previously stated total small-business set-aside, changes the response deadline to November 5, 2026, and confirms that emailed proposals are acceptable. NECO quotes and faxed proposals are not accepted. Past performance will be considered in evaluating offers.
