Description
The City of Pawtucket is seeking a prime contractor for Tidewater Landing Phase 1B, Riverwalk East Contract 2—Early Site Work. The project includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, demolition and debris removal, erosion and sediment controls, grading, temporary access paths, drainage utilities and structures, catch basins, manholes, restoration, and installation of one-foot and two-foot engineered soil caps. The work also includes management, stockpiling, reuse, and limited removal of lead-impacted and otherwise controlled soils; approximately 2,500 tons of lead-impacted soil is identified in the bid quantities, along with allowances for police traffic protection and funding-source signage. Contractors must comply with prevailing-wage requirements, Build America, Buy America requirements where applicable, environmental controls, and the specified insurance, bid-security, and performance/payment-bond requirements.
