Description
The City of Duluth is soliciting bids for structural maintenance and rehabilitation at the Hart Ramp, Library-Depot Ramp, and Medical District Ramp. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, and equipment for epoxy-coated reinforcement, concrete repairs, structural and miscellaneous metal fabrications, sealants, and replacement or installation of expansion joints. The project is a unit-price construction contract with prevailing-wage requirements. Contractors must visit and verify site conditions, coordinate phased work while the ramps remain open for parking, provide traffic control and protection, submit required product data and shop drawings, and comply with applicable safety and responsible-contractor requirements. A 5% bid surety is required; performance and payment bonds are required after award for awarded amounts over $100,000. Insurance proof is required after award, and a project labor agreement may apply to bids of $150,000 or more.
