Description
The City of Bellingham is soliciting sealed construction proposals for repairs to the Commercial Street Parking Garage. The work includes select concrete repairs on all floors, new fireproof coating for the Level 5 steel structure, new traffic coating on the Level 5 parking deck, and selective demolition of decorative precast concrete cladding panels. Additive alternate bids are requested for additional fireproofing and traffic coating identified in the bid set. Proposals must use the City-provided Bid Proposal form and include acceptable bid security equal to at least 5% of the total bid. A 100% payment and performance contract bond is required, subject to the stated retainage alternative for projects of $35,000 or less.
