Description
The City of Bethlehem is seeking qualified EVSE developers, owner-operators, and technology vendors to evaluate candidate municipal sites and deliver Level 2 and/or DC fast-charging infrastructure. The selected vendor will be responsible for site evaluation and ranking, environmental review, utility coordination, engineering and design, permitting, grant applications, financing, construction, equipment procurement and installation, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance. The opportunity uses a third-party owner/operator model. The vendor must provide at least the required 20% non-federal cost match for NEVI funding, pay utility interconnection costs, manage subcontractor procurement, comply with applicable NEVI, Buy America, EVITP, prevailing-wage, accessibility, and environmental requirements, and operate the stations for at least five years. Proposals must address each of nine candidate municipal locations, provide technical and financial approaches for NEVI and non-NEVI scenarios, propose compensation to the City, and include quarterly operating data and community outreach support.
