Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award Natera, Inc. a sole-source, firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract for proprietary molecular genetic reference testing used to evaluate and monitor transplant patients and cancer residual disease. The specified tests are Prospera for transplant assessment and Signatera for residual disease testing; estimated quantities are 25 and 35 tests, respectively. The notice states that the assays and required technology are proprietary to Natera and cannot be substituted by another laboratory. This is a special notice, not a request for quotes. Interested parties may email a capability statement demonstrating that an equivalent proprietary test exists and can be provided. The agency will consider responses when deciding whether to compete the requirement.
