Description
The City seeks one or more providers to represent its municipal interests before the Texas Legislature, executive branch, and state agencies and commissions. Services include legislative and regulatory monitoring, policy analysis, strategic advocacy, stakeholder relationship coordination, support for the City's legislative agenda, drafting advocacy materials, arranging meetings and testimony, and identifying and pursuing state funding opportunities. The City is seeking providers with experience in water, wastewater, and sewer infrastructure, as well as subjects in its adopted legislative agenda. Services will be ordered as needed throughout an initial three-year term, with one one-year renewal option. The selected provider must maintain qualified personnel, designate a lead lobbyist or account manager, comply with lobbying registration and reporting requirements, and provide regular updates and reports.
