Description
The County seeks qualified firms to provide as-needed abatement at residential and commercial properties. Work may include site surveys and estimates; cleanup and removal of trash, debris, junk, abandoned vehicles, overgrown vegetation, and other nuisance materials; lawful transport and disposal of solid and hazardous waste; boarding and securing accessible openings; and installing fencing, barriers, or signage. Contractors must provide labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, and required documentation, and comply with applicable safety, environmental, licensing, and waste-handling requirements. Priority or accelerated response may be requested for urgent public-safety situations. The County intends to establish a qualified list valid for up to three years, with no guaranteed volume of work. Assignments may be negotiated with a selected qualified firm or competed among at least three firms on the list. The response must address staff qualifications, firm experience, project management and approach, and at least three similar-project references; fee information is not requested at this stage.
